Printing Sheets

We recommend our micro-perforated printing sheets in A4 format to print name cards efficiently. These are made of special paper and are suitable both for inkjet and laser printers.

We supply the necessary amount of printing sheets sufficient to cover initial inscription!

Upon request we can supply printing sheets with your logo printed, so that you only need to print the name (black). Please contact us so that we can produce a quotation to match.

Inscription / Alteration of names

To print name cards, we recommend the following procedure, depending on the quantity of names and the frequency of alterations:
 
Option A - Print-out on printing sheets
Option B - Print-out on blank paper
Option C - Inscription by hand
Option D - infoplus inscription service
 
Option A: Print-out on printing sheets
Our recommendation:
… for more than approx. 5 name cards
… for regular requirements
… a must for larger volumes

You can easily design the name cards yourself on your computer and print them off on the perforated printing sheets, using a laser or inkjet printer.

To set up the document initially, you need to factor in a little time; therefore we recommend the use of printing sheets, even if name cards are required in certain quantities or on a regular basis. On the “Classic” and “Professional” versions (both with window and partial surface print) the print field for the name must be defined.

If an existing document is used, production of name cards can be completed in 1-2 minutes.

To produce the name cards, you can use any word processing programme or the inscription software, Design Pro 5. For each badge / card format, we have provided templates in the Download section (for Word and Design Pro 5).

 
 
Option B: Print-out on blank paper
Our recommendation:
… for individual name cards
… if cards need to be produced very quickly!

If the effort of setting up printing sheets for individual names cards is too much or if you do not wish to use printing sheets, you can print the name card on somewhat thicker blank paper (120 to 150 gr. is fine).
 
Tips to simplify the procedure:

1. Atlantis | PC (Example: card format 75x32 mm/ 2.95x1.26 inch, similar for other formats)
· Define size of text field as 80x37 mm (3.15x1.46 inch), i. e. 5mm wider and higher.
(Please select text field with fine lines. The larger format means that no residual lines are visible after cutting and – if required – a coloured surface can be printed up to the edges.)
· Enter text and if necessary add logo and then position.
· If required alter the colour of the surface.
· Place front panel centrically on top (same distance to edge all round), hold in place using 2 fingers and cut out the insert with a cutter.
·    Now you just need to clip the insert and the front panel into the holder.
 
2. Atlantis | Classic/Profesional (Example: card format 75x32 mm/ 2.95x1.26 inch, similar for other formats)
· Just enter the name, if necessary with job title or additional line.
(If necessary use subframes in window format in order to check text size and if necessary line spacing)
· If required you can also allow for several names and text alternatives.   (Please make sure you leave sufficient spacing)
· Place the name window of the front panel centrically on top of the text, hold in place using 2 fingers and cut out the name card with a cutter.
· Now you just need to clip the insert and the front panel into the holder.
 
3. ProfiColor, Profoplexx, Papyrus, Screen (Example: card format 75x32 mm/ 2.95x1.26 inch, similar for other formats)
· Define size of text field as 76x33 mm (2.99x1.30 inch), i.e. 1mm (0.04 inch) wider and higher.
(Please select text field with fine lines.)
· Enter text and if necessary add logo and then position.
· Cut out the name card using a cutter and a ruler in such a way that the lines cannot be seen.
· Now you just need to insert the name card into the badge.

Option C: Inscription by hand
Our recommendation:
… if you are improvising
… for events

Of course the name cards can also be inscribed individually directly by hand.

Very practical for events:
Print the event text / logo on the name cards and then just add the name by hand.
 
 
Option D: infoplus inscription service
Our recommendation:

… for regular CI-compliant use and kitting out of your  employees/branches

Special Accessorie for Papyrus "soft"

A radial cutter is eminently suitable to adapt name cards for use with Papyrus name badges in a “soft” finish. You lay the name card corner by corner in the radial cutter and round them off to fit perfectly.
