Prerequisites for print data

General print data information

The data that you provide to us for the printing of your name badges should be with the highest resolution and suitable formats. These requirements ensure the optimal processing of your order.

Free of charge technical verification:
The printing feasibility of the customer design is verified by our graphic designers in advance!

File formats:

We can process data of the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign

You can deliver your data in the following formats: JPG, TIF, EPS, AI, PDF

We will be glad to assist you and cooperate with you in determining the suitable file formats.

Please note:

Colors can be affected by different backgrounds, therefore "white" may have to be printed as a background initially.

Costs for potentially required logo reworking will be charged according to the required effort upon agreement.

Notes for the LOGO

Vectors

  • im .eps, .pdf or .ai format
  • in CMYK or spot colors (e.g. Pantone Coated or HKS)
  • convert all type in the logo into paths

 

Images (high resolution)

  • as .jpg or .tif
  • with min. 300 dpi
  • in CMYK

 

Notes for the NAMES

  • Provide information about the required typeface for the names, name list, etc.
    (if the typeface is not available, send the file as .otf or .ttf)
  • Information prior to the layout design whether only names or also functions and/or flags are requested
  • Name list: the infoplus template must be used (.xlsx format)

 

Notes for layout design

  • You want to design the layout yourself?
    Please use the template by infoplus (available via mail) or create your own file (.pdf or .eps).
  • The contours of the name badge must be shown (e.g. in 0.5 pt.).
  • Logo requirements (see "Logo")
  • Take into account long and short names in the name area.
    (see "Name" under individual typefaces)
  • Create a 1 mm distance from the edge.
  • When printing to the edge, create trapping of 2 mm.
