How can I find the suitable article
You can use the navigation to search for products or receive our product recommendations via the name badge and sign search function. We offer you a variety of filters in the respective product overviews.
I require several name badges with text and our colored logo. Can you comply with our individual wishes?
You can find a large selection of our standard products in our shop. In addition we produce badges and signs in almost any style and format. Just send us your design including the dimensions, colors, texts, etc. and we will be glad to provide you with an individual offer.
Can we have a sample?
We will be glad to provide you with samples for your inspection. In case of expensive samples (large quantities, high-quality samples or sample kits) we reserve the right to bill the samples that are not returned.
How quickly can I receive my ordered products?
We deliver our products punctually for many customers who are greatly pressed for time. If the delivery time is very important to you, let us know in advance. In your own interest please order in due time with a time buffer. Tightly scheduled, precisely timed deliveries require optimal order processing, therefore please approve the layouts according to schedule. We always aim to deliver as fast as possible. For some product versions we additionally offer our badge24 express delivery.
Do you also deliver directly to our customer?
If you wish, we can deliver your order directly and neutrally packed with your delivery note to your customer! Project protection can be agreed.
What is included in the initial costs?
Initial costs include the logo/layout design, optimizing the logos for printing or engraving, the set up of the machinery (printing press or engraving machine), the cleaning of the machinery and the programming for laser engraving processes.
For follow-up orders of an identical design only reduced initial costs will be incurred. Neither the costs for the layout and print file creation will apply, nor the cutting programs for special formats and contours.
Are there over-deliveries or under-deliveries?
It is possible that a name badge is damaged during the engraving or printing process. It is too expensive to reprint or engrave an individual badge. Serial production is economical. Therefore, production-related over-delivery or under-delivery of 10% is possible and should be accepted.
Can we also receive small quantities from you?
Our offer is aimed at industrial, trade and advertising material companies. Very small quantities may be subject to a surcharge. As standard, our badges are available from a quantity of 10. When you issue a call-off order or enter a framework agreement (from 10 badges), then call-offs starting at 1 badge are possible. Similarly, customized signs and badges can already be ordered from a quantity of 1 at the online shop.
What information is required for the files, logo data and colors?
We require vectorized data in the .eps-, .pdf- or .ai format in CMYK or spot colors(e.g. Pantone Coated or HKS). Please convert all type in the logo into paths. Please send us included images as high-resolution .jpg or .tif files. Images/logos in half tones that should be printed as 4C or gray scale should have a size of at least 300 dpi in 1:1 size. For screen printing we ask you to provide us with precise color information in Pantone, HKS, or RAL or a contract proof (sample).
Please keep in mind that the background material and background color can slightly affect the print outcome. Slight color deviations are not a reason for complaint.
How do you define product changes?
Our products are constantly improved. We always aim to offer you the best quality. We reserve the right to react to technical innovations. It is therefore possible that in a follow up delivery your product looks slightly different or has minimum color deviations.
What is 4C digital printing?
We print with modern digital printing presses that provide you with high print quality. Multi-colored logos or designs can be produced quickly and cost efficiently. Depending on the product variation or style, printing can consist of scratch-proof second surface printing, scratch-resistant digital surface printing, or non-scratch resistant relief printing (surface printing).
What is laser engraving?
Laser engraving is a modern production method with which a thin layer of the material surface can be removed. This is possible, for example, with out black anodized aluminum badges or all Materia badges. The differently colored material underneath becomes visible.
Laser engraving can be used to inscribe stainless steel in black and wood in dark brown.
What are the advantages of laser engraving?
Laser engraving offers a number of key advantages over printing. It is quicker to implement, absolutely durable and resilient (no wear). In addition, it is absolutely precise and more delicate than printing.
We use state-of-the-art laser engraving machines to quickly and highly precisely engrave aluminum, stainless steel, and other materials. After we receive your vectorized (converted into scalable paths) logo file, we write a program based on it. All data will be archived and can be reused for follow up orders of the identical laser design.
What is silk screen printing?
Silk screen printing can be applied to aluminum, brass, synthetic material, acrylic glass, and stainless steel. For better color rendition, logos, etc. require the exact color specifications in HKS, Pantone, or RAL.
How long does the drying process take?
All printed parts must go through a drying process, the correct and necessary hardening may take a few days and depends on the material.
Are magnet name badges harmless for people with heart pacemakers?
The German Federal Office for Radiation Protection has issued the following statement regarding this frequently asked question:
Carrying small permanent magnets on the body such as magnetic fasteners for name badges is generally harmless to the health. These applications only lead to a locally very limited exposure to weak static magnetic fields. Normal use of such magnetic clips is far below the known biological impact thresholds.
However, interference with specific heart pacemakers by small permanent magnets cannot be ruled out. From approx. 1 mT magnetic flux density, interference with e.g.   magnetic cards, credit cards, and watches is possible. It is therefore recommended not to wear the name badges immediately above the implanted heart pacemaker and not to keep sensitive magnetic cards in jacket pockets.
Nevertheless, it is recommended to inform the employees of the potential hazard of magnetic name badges prior to issuing them. It is best to include a small note about the magnet with each name badge.
