Print methods and finishing

Our name badges are produced with the print methods listed below.

The correct choice and combination of print and production methods offer you the ideal solution for your specific demand. Our team will be glad to advise you!

Digital printing

Digital printing allows quick and cost-effective production of any number of customized name badges.
Our digital printing expertise enables us to constantly optimize our production processes. Custom-made badges, small quantities, and special formats are recorded in our pre-print phase and prepared according to customer specifications. We produce digitally printed name badges already starting at a quantity of 1.

Technology

4C digital printing is a modern printing method that transfers the digital data (print image) from the computer directly to the printing press. The advantage of this printing method is that it does not require printing plates. This decreases the required work, and production, even of individual formats, is faster and more cost effective, especially for multi-colored images.
As second surface printing, modern digital printing is scratch-resistant, as first-surface printing, so-called relief printing, digital printing is not scratch-proof and therefore especially suited for short-term use.

Materials

Synthetic materials (acrylic, PP) and aluminum

Special features

White ink allows white printing, all special shapes are possible, as are all special colors!

Product series

AluContur, LaserContur, Atlantis, Papyrus, Economy, Mikado

Silk screen printing

A traditional method for high print runs.
In our screen printing workshop we print for you name badges and signs made of various materials, e.g. acrylic glass. Each name badge includes the matching finishing to provide you in the end with a product that optimally fulfills your expectations, e.g. we produce any shape for you using modern laser technology or punching.

Technology

In the screen printing method, the color is pressed with a squeegee through a fine mesh onto the material to be printed. The openings of the mesh are closed in areas where no color is to be transferred.

Materials

Acrylic glass (also aluminum on request)

Special features

High material flexibility, intensive color brightness, highest color precision - 100% matching the corporate design!

Anodized aluminum printing

Badges and signs for discerning demands.
Anodized aluminum printed signs and badges are particularly robust aluminum badges. AluContur name badges and desk name signs are produced with anodized aluminum printing, a special processing method that guarantees that the printing is 100% scratch proof.

Technology

During anodization, the aluminum plate is immersed in a sulfuric acid bath, which opens the pores of the aluminum. The colored image is now printed into this anodized plate, which is sealed with an oxide layer again.

Material

Aluminum, silver-matt anodized

Special features

100% scratch proof, solvent and temperature resistant!

Doming (finishing)

3D effect with print finishing!
Doming adds a noble look to logos and name badges. In addition to the sophisticated impression, the crystal clear sealing provides permanent protection.

Technology

With this print finishing, non-yellowing clear polyurethane resin is applied to a printed foil. The foil sticker is self-adhesive on the back with very high bonding strength.

Material

Release paper

Special features

3D-Dome is an effective eye-catcher, durable and robust.

Engraving/Laser engraving

A good choice for durable inscriptions.
Engraved name badges and signs are among the classics of permanent inscription. Engraving is often chosen for high-quality, sophisticated name badges. An ideal processing method - not only for individual name badges or small series.

Technology

For the engraving method, laser engraving is used to engrave lettering, elements and shapes into the surface of the selected material.

Material

Brass, anodized aluminum, compound material, real wood veneer

Special features

The inscription is carried out by engraving the surface of the base material, resulting in a precise and durable text.

Embossing

Developed decades ago and perfected today!
Our design studio name badges combine a well-tried approach with new technologies. For the embossing technology high-grade materials are used to create particularly unique name badges.

Technology

With the embossing method the desired design is pressed to the reverse side of the material with a die. This causes the design to appear on the front side as a raised image.

Material

Brass

Special features

Very individual production and combination possibilities.
